Livio Suppo to Leave Ducati?

Following the appointment of Valentino Rossi friendly Vittoriano Guareschi as Ducati Marlboro team manager comes intensified rumors about the imminent departure of Rossi unfriendly Project Director, Livio Suppo after this weekends final round of the MotoGP championship in Valencia, Spain. Suppo has been instrumental in the team’s success with Casey Stoner but is seen as an impediment to any tie up with Rossi in the future by the Italian press.

At the Sepang MotoGP round, tongues were wagging about the appointment of Guareschi long before it was officially announced and those same tongues also suggested that Suppo may be on the way out. This turn of events, if true, would be a further step that could ultimately pave the way for Rossi to join the Ducati team in 2011. Ducati News Today has already argued why Rossi will finish his career on a Ducati.
