Okay so the comparison seems a little biased. The trick MotoGP refugee Ducati Desmosedici is running carbon fiber fairings, slicks on 16.5″ rims and claims 203bhp at the wheel but the Ferrari 430 Scuderia has 510bhp, carbon ceramic brakes and hits 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds on it’s way to 198mph. Ferrari says it laps their test track as fast as the mighty Enzo. Oh, it also costs around US$280,000. The Ducati destroys it’s 4 wheeled equivalent around the track. What was the difference in lap times? Check it out after the jump.

I always take these kinds of reports with a grain of salt, because you never quite know if the drivers/riders are really on equal footing (skill wise). The dream would be of course to let Casey Stoner take the bike and take the F430 and see what happens then.

Entertaining story, nonetheless.
I agree about the take it with a grain of salt. I’d like to see Stoner on the bike and Schumacher in the cage–I’m sure it would be much, much closer.
