How about a Ducati Pantah 796? I don't think enough classes exist for where the 848 can compete to introduce an upsepc model just for that. In many cases change the internals of the current model make it good to go for racing, but hey you never know! I've heard rumors for years of them working on an F1 Sport Classic which got very strong between '05 & '06. The current SC's are on the old 1000cc TS motor. I would imagine an upgrade to the current 1100cc engine or maybe even to 1200cc. I think we may see some sort of new Sport Classic. I would think that this would be necessary, even with price as a consideration. I'm on the fence on the Vyper. I like the idea of a Ducati muscle cruiser, but I'm kinda nervous about the execution. The idea of a scooter is somewhat laughable, at least here in the USA. Maybe the scooter market is huge in Europe, but is the US really ready for a "muscle scooter???" I'm not so sure the market here is strong enough for that. Nothing in the rumour mill about a new SuperSport? That's disappointing... Streefighter 848 is a great idea. I’m on the fence on the Vyper.
