It looks like a fake/diversion to me; the snout appears to protrude more in the lower photo. Someone’s taking the piss.

I have to admit I am perplexed. These bikes are always interesting-looking that’s what makes them cool. I ride a Multistrada and think it looks excellent. It blows away the BMW, Aprilla, Triumph, Versys, V-strom etc in the looks department. I don’t think there is even another bike in this class I would ride due to excessive-ugliness. The Aperta looks like a Hyper-Multi cross.

Yes, initial looks, it is pretty bad. Although, in typical Italian styling they are way ahead of the curve. While the v-storms and GS’s will look like they came out of an army surplus yard in 10 years, this bike, like all Ducati’s will age very well. IMHO

Yes who would have thought that the objective was to make the Multistrada look good! I have to stand by my analysis of the most recent Spyshots that suggest to me that the snout is not part of the final bike
