Welcome to Wallpaper Wednesday. Every week I will post up something beautiful from the world of Ducati that you just might like to have grace your desktop. This week we have a Ducati Sport Classic 1000S, modified very tastefully by it’s owner Paul Braybook.
Like many Ducatisti, Mr Braybook sees a new Ducati as the start of a project. With the sole caveat of an aversion to carbon fibre (I used the English spelling since the owner is from the UK!) almost anything was considered but the primary modifications were the beautiful, gold powder coated Marchesini 999 wheels and Ohlins forks along with termignoni exhausts and the ubiquitous Pazzo levers. Paul is clearly very proud of his bike and has enlisted his friend, Mark Springthorpe, to work some Photoshop magic in the shot above.
Paul says he is still to fit Ducati 999 four piston, four pad calipers to go with custom made front discs. These carefully chosen modifications have trasnformed the looks of the bike from stock. If you don’t believe me compare the pictures above with the stock photo below!
