Ducati’s 916 is iconic of the DNA of the company, accessible performance through beautiful design. The failure of the successor to the 916 to 998 range, the 999 series, was a large reason why the 1098/1198 range looks like a modern echo of the original 1994, desmoquattro machine. The yellow, 1998 model bike has spent most of it’s life to date in a warehouse is now on it’s way to a collector in Monaco.
