ducatinewstoday Wants Your Feedback

nuovo logo ducati thumb ducatinewstoday Wants Your FeedbackWhen I started this blog and made my very first post reviewing my Ducati Monster S4Rs, I had an idea for a site focussed exclusively on Ducati subject matter but little else by way of a direction. 5 months later it is time for the 200th post and I thought that it would be worthwhile to review what has been most popular and to ask you, dear reader, for guidance on what to do more of, less of and what, if anything, should stay the same.

Rumors

Not surprisingly the most popular posts have been those that discuss rumored up and coming models such as the Ducati Adventure Tourer and the Ducati Vyper Power Cruiser.

Wallpapers

The Weekly Wallpaper Wednesday segment has been very popular but by far the most popular has been the Ducati 1198S followed by the Ducati Monster 1100S. There was also a strong vote for the more classic machines since the Ducati Mike Hailwood Replica was the third most popular.

There are a few more models to cover yet but I want to begin now to solicit readers Ducati’s to feature on the site. Look out for the details of how to get your machine on ducatinewstoday soon.

Racing Calendar

An early favorite was the 2009 AMA / World Superbike and MotoGP Google calendar which I made to help me keep track of when the racing was but proved popular with the ducatisti.

Streetfighter

The launch of the much awaited Ducati Streetfighter was an exciting time indeed and the meta coverage of the Ascari launch was popular as was the video of a termi equipped Streetfighter.

Ride Reports

Ride reports proved popular but none more so than the Ducati 848. My trackday crash and subsequent injury has taken me off bikes for awhile but more tests are coming soon starting with the Ducati Streetfighter.

It is Time to Have Your Say

I would be tremendously grateful for any feedback you have as to the sort of content you want to see on the site in the future. What do you want that is new? What do you want to see more of? What bugs you and want to see less of? You get the drill.

You can weigh in using the comments below or the contact us page or even Twitter me @ducatinewstoday.

  1. Hi Mark,

I really enjoy visiting your website for a number of reasons. Firstly, you cover most of my areas of interest related to Ducati and secondly you express yourself so eloquently I always want to read on. That combined with your experience and general knowledge makes good reading!

Personally, I don’t think you need to change much because I like the website the way it is now which corresponds well with my favourite areas of interest being news related to upcoming Ducati models, practical and honest no-nonsense testing of Ducatis (both road and track, please) and racing news (MotoGP and WorldSBK).

    Keep up the good work!!!
