Rumors of future Ducati’s have only been expanding in recent months but in comments made by Ducati’s marketing chief concerning the Strada Aperta Adventure tourer and possible scooter concepts it was revealed that Ducati is backing away from the Vyper Performance cruiser concept.
Ducati’s Director of Marketing, Diego Sgorbati clearly ruled out that the Vyper concept would make an appearance at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, this November or in fact any time soon.
So the custom cruiser is out? “In any kind of near future, yes, it’s out. Maybe in 4-5 years we would look at the custom market to as well as other segments to see where we could expand.”
