Welcome to Wallpaper Wednesday. Every week I will post up something beautiful from the world of Ducati that you just might like to have grace your desktop. This week we have the controversially styled 2009 Ducati Multistrada S.
Another Pierre Terblanche design the awkwardly styled Multistrada (Italian for many roads) has been a hit with strong sales especially in Europe. True to its name the Multistrada is accomplished at commuting, light touring and can hold its own in the canyons. The S model offers the usual Ohlins suspension upgrades and only this higher spec model is available for sale in the USA. Although not a model having as strong a following as the Superbike or Monster range at least one Italian dealer has created their own Multistrada special. Next year, Ducati will launch an Adventure tourer replacement that will utilize the much more powerful 4-valve, 1098 engine.
