Welcome to Wallpaper Wednesday. Every week I will post up something beautiful from the world of Ducati that you just might like to have grace your desktop. This week we have the mightiest current model, the limited edition, MotoGP replica Ducati Desmosedici RR.
I had forgotten how beautiful this bike is until I saw and rode with one at a recent US Desmo trackday at Roebling Rd. The sensual, yet purposeful lines of what is effectively the last 990cc, V4 GP6 racer with added lights and mirrors are still striking The V4 desmo V4 with 16 (sedici in Italian) valves produces a claimed 200bhp at the crank with the included “Not for Road Use” exhaust system. Priced at $US72,500 including the first 3 years of servicing fro free, owners were getting a piece of history, a true Grand Prix racer for the road.
