Wallpaper Wednesday: Bimota DB7

Every week I will post up something beautiful from the world of Ducati that you just might like to have grace your desktop. This week we don’t have a Ducati, we have a Bimota DB7. I let it in because it’s got a Ducati engine, it’s Italian and it’s beautiful! Enjoy.

Launched in 2008, the Bimota DB7 added 4-valve, 1098 Ducati power to the model range. The bike continued the Bimota heritage of beautiful bespoke frames encompassing production engines (in this case the standard Ducati 1098), high quality suspension components from Marzocchi and Extreme Tech, along with exceptional to detail and breath taking styling. The engine is unmodified but does feature Bimota’s own injection and exhaust system. The bike is also a little lighter than the Ducati that donates it’s engine, at 170kg ( 374lb) dry. At $40,000 it compares favorably with the 1098R for exotica if not absolute performance.
