The Twist the Throttle series on Discovery HD Theater is an impressive overview of some of the major brands that have shaped motorcycle history and given us the superb machinery that we have to choose from today. The Ducati series is particularly insightful and if you missed the TV show, don’t get the Discovery HD Theater channel or just want to watch it again, it is available on the web.
The webisodes are shorter than than the 49 minute features shown on Discovery but still make for compelling viewing. For Italian fans, MV Augusta and Bimota are also included along with Ducati. BMW is featured along with Japanese manufacturers Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki.
The Ducati story will be shown again on Monday, April 19th (full listings here). If you can’t wait that long or don’t get Discovery HD Theater, you can watch the Ducati series online right now.
