Welcome to Wallpaper Wednesday. Every week I will post up something beautiful from the world of Ducati that you just might like to have grace your desktop. This week we have an oldie, the Ducati 900 Mike Hailwood Replica, based on the popular 900SS.
Produced in 1979 to commemorate the stunning Isle of Mann TT win by Mike Hailwood the previous year. Hailwood had retired from motorcycle competition 11 years earlier and few thought the 38 year old would still be competitive on motorcycles let alone win the race! Like most racer replicas it wasn’t a patch on the factory race bike but at least it looked the same!
