After months of speculation as to what 3 time World Superbike Champion and Ducati hero, Troy Bayliss, would do with his spare time following his retirement at the conclusion of the 2008 season we now have our answer. Larry Pegram posted the third fastest time in provisional qualifying for the first round of the new American Superbike class at Daytona. Pegram and his Ducati 1098R lapped at 1:38.455 behind the Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s of Mat Mladlin Tommy Hayden.
