Nicky Hayden Impresses his New Boss
Ducati must be relaxing a little after the conclusion of the recent night testing at the Losail circuit in Qatar. Not only was Casey Stoner fastest and seemingly happier with his troublesome wrist, but new signing, Nicky Hayden, improved considerably.
Hayden ended up 5th fastest after struggling to finish 10th at the Sepang tests. Prior to the commencement of the winter testing program, many commentators wondered how hayden would adapt to the wild Ducati after the Honda. Team manager Livio Suppo seems clearly happy with his new charge.
“Nicky has the right attitude. The good thing is every time that he goes out he improves a little bit more and this is very positive. “He is improving a lot with the machine and his approach with the team and getting stronger at the right time with the first race approaching.”
