Ducati Opens Enrollment for the Ducati Riding Experience 2009
Ducati is now opening enrollment for the European Ducati Riding Experience (DRE). This track based event allows riders to experiment with the full performance envelope of a modern Ducati in a controlled environment. The instruction takes place at such evocative circuits as Monza, Misano and Mugello.
Imagine yourself on a Ducati at tracks used by the best in MotoGP and SBK. Add to that dream the focused instruction given by the best teachers, including active racers and champions from the past and present and you’ll not only be riding one of Italy’s classic race circuits, but you’ll also do it in a safe, controlled and enjoyable environment.
Ducati offers a range of courses catered to riders’ experience from the novice to the rider who is already road racing. The full range of bikes is utilized from the Monster 696, through the Multistrada and Hyper Motard to the 848 and new Ducati 1198S for the Master Racing course.
Prices range from 300 Euro for the Basic Riding course up to 1,300 Euro for the Master Racing course which includes a high level of specialized and individual assessment and tuition.
As a Master Racing course participant, you’ll take part in a test on a 1198 S specially fitted with the 2D professional Data Acquisition system. The test will provide you with detailed rider/bike performance data that can be used to compare against your instructor’s data.
