Ducati Executives Not immune from Global Economic Realities
Ducati executives have had their salaries reduced and will need to forego bonuses at the global economic crisis effects the motorcycle market
The firm said senior executives had voluntarily taken a 10% wage cut after new bike sales in Italy dropped 38.8% in January. It did not reveal its own sales figures but said its share of the market had risen from 11.2% to 12.5%.
Ducati is amongst a number of Italian motorcycle manufacturers calling for government assistance.
I don’t know about you but I would rather support Ducati with a bailout than the banks. I can live without a bank but I can’t live without Ducati!!
